3 tablespoons spiced cocoa mix (you can use any of our cocoa mixes)
2 tablespoons hot water
1 stick of salted butter, room temperature
1 cup of powdered sugar, sifted
1 tablespoon of milk
Directions:
In a small bowl, mIx cocoa mix and hot water until the sugar has completely melted. You might need to reheat slowly until combined. Let cool 20 minutes.
Add butter and chocolate mixture to a medium sized bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix until fluffy. Add powdered sugar in two batches until everything is thoroughly combined. Add milk. Cover bowl until ready to use. Store in the fridge overnight, if needed. Use it on your favorite chocolate cake recipe and ENJOY!
Pro tip: We found the candied macadamia nuts to be a star on this cake. Also, drizzle some boozy chocolate sauce over the top for a true winner!
