Boozy Chocolate Sauce Part 2

Below is a complete list of Boozy Chocolate Sauce pairings for each of our cocoa mixes just in time for the holidays! Pour into small bottles with tags to give to your nearest and dearest.


Ingredients:
(6) heaping tablespoons of any of our cocoa mixes
(2) ounces of hot water
(1) ounce of alcohol or liqueur


Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a simmer. Turn the heat off.
  2. Add half of the cocoa mix and stir until smooth.
  3. Add the other half of the mix. You may need to add a little more water. The consistency should be like a thick hot fudge sauce. You may need to turn the heat to low to make sure all the sugar has melted and everything is combined and smooth.
  4. Add alcohol of choice, mix to combine.
  5. Pour into storage containers and store in the fridge.
  6. Expires in about 2 weeks.

Pro tip:

  • We have recommendations for what cocoa flavor is ideal for pairing with each booze, but all of our cocoa mixes will work for this regardless of what booze you are working with.
  • Use a small hand held frother to help combine all ingredients for an extra smooth sauce.
  • We recommend the boozy chocolate sauce when you have a dry cake or bread, because the sauce will moisten it up and intensify the flavors.
