Recipe: Chocolate Ganache with Goat Cheese
Here is an instant appetizer that will have your guests wanting more! Try with any of our Truffle Bars, however this recipe uses our basil truffle bar because it works so well with creamy & tangy goat cheese topped with balsamic vinegar for a well rounded bite every time. This recipe is flexible; amounts of ingredients are up to you.
Ingredients:
Baguette
Goat Cheese, plain
Fresh basil, chopped
Intrigue Basil Truffle Bar (seasonally offered)
Balsamic Vinegar 
Directions:
Place basil truffle from the fridge to the counter so it can soften a little. 
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Thinly slice bread and place on a sheet tray or cookie sheet
Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt 
Bake for about five minutes on each side depending on your oven. You want to see a golden brown edge around your slices, like little pieces of toast.
Let your toasts cool.
While they are cooling,  you can slice your truffle. 
Time to build:
Spread goat cheese on each toast, we used about 2 teaspoons.
Sprinkle some basil
Add a slice of truffle
Sprinkle with balsamic vinegar
