Lavender Earl Grey Hot Cocoa

It's the end of the day, you crossed off most of your to do list, and you finally sit down with a rich cup of Lavender Earl Grey hot cocoa! This warm beverage warms your soul and gets you ready for a good night's sleep. makes 2 servings.

Ingredients:
6 ounces heavy whipping cream
1 tea bag Earl Grey tea
1 teaspoon white sugar
4 tablespoons Lavender Hot Cocoa Mix
16 ounces hot water

Directions:

  1. Infuse cream- In a small saucepan, add heavy whipping cream and heat on medium until steaming.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the tea bag; let sit for 15 minutes or until cool enough to touch.
  3. Carefully retrieve the tea bag and squeeze remaining tea into cream.
  4. Cover and place the bowl and cream into the fridge overnight or at least 4 hours.
  5. Make whipped cream- Once completely cooled, add sugar and whip on high until stiff peaks form.
  6. Cover and place in the fridge until ready to use.
  7. Make hot cocoa- pour 4 ounces of water in a small saucepan.
  8. Bring to a simmer,turn down heat to low and add cocoa mix.
  9. Stir until sugar is dissolved and add the rest of the water.
  10. Mix until steaming.
  11. Pour into cups, top with whipped cream, and enjoy!


Pro tips:

  • For a more flavorful whipped cream, leave the tea bag in cream until you are ready to whip it.
  • This whipped cream also is delicious in coffee, on top of cake, or ice cream!
  • Be creative and experiment with our other cocoa mixes; use alcohol, tea, and/or herbs to infuse your whipped cream!
  • Whipped cream expired within three days.
