Toasted Baguette with Dark Chocolate

A simple, unique, and delicious snack idea! A demi baguette toasted with melted single origin chocolate, walnuts, and local salted honey. You know we had to pick up the baguette from La Panier located at Pike Place Market. 🥖 🍫 😍2-3 servings


  • 1 Demi Baguette, sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoon butter, salted and softened
  • 2 Single-Origin Craft Tasting Bar - Columbia is recommended.
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch sea salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Slice baguette in half lengthwise.
  3. Place on a baking tray.
  4. Spread butter on both halves.
  5. Place in the oven for 3 minutes.
  6. Place a bar of chocolate on each half.
  7. Place back into the oven for 3 minutes.
  8. With your butter knife, spread the melted chocolate evenly across the baguette.
  9. Sprinkled walnuts, then honey on the chocolate.
  10. Lastly, sprinkle each half with a little sea salt.
  11. Enjoy!


  • A couple slices of brioche would be a great alternative to the baguette.
  • NO walnuts? Hazelnuts or almonds would work!
  • Try with a little fruit jam for some added flavor.
