Come for a free chocolate tasting, to buy chocolate, smell spices, or just to chat it up with us. We love visitors!
The shop, which is also our industrial-style kitchen, can be a little tricky to find because we are not on the street level. Easiest way to find us is to find the entrance to Sake Nomi (Sake bar) and continue up the stairs. Then it's just down the hall which turns to the left, and we are the clearly marked brown door, third on the left. When we are open we leave sandwich boards on the street and in the hallway to mark the way.
The Classes
To participate in a demonstration style or hands on chocolate-making class, please contact Aaron for next available dates by emailing him: Aaron@IntrigueChocolate.com. We'll post on facebook, our blog, and our newsletter when new classes are being scheduled.
The Events
If you would like to arrange an event with Intrigue Chocolate, please contact Aaron to work out the details. Below are some ideas on how you can work with us, and some guidelines regarding which events we choose to pursue.
At Intrigue Chocolate Co.
We have a wonderful space that can hold up to 15 people comfortably. This is perfect for small get togethers or classes. Here are some examples of what we've done in the past:
- Corporate team building
- A location on a Seattle or themed tour
- Truffle making class
- Co-op events with partner businesses for pairing
- Charity fundraisers
With Intrigue Chocolate Co.
Because of the time commitments in traveling to events, we typically look for the following criteria before we accept:
- Ability to sell chocolate and accept payment at the table.
- If sales are not possible, there is a minimum fee.
- Over 200 people in attendance.
- Within reasonable driving range of downtown Seattle.
- An event theme that fits with chocolate.
